1.      Mini course

The goal of this course is to learn that skiing can be fun, to find your feet on skis, and if possible to go down the beginners’ slope or even slalom down.

The duration of the course is 1.5 hours. If it seems the kids have had enough, we’ll finish the course at Snowy Land.  Our mini ski courses start at 4-6 years. There are no prerequisites for the kids.

The course starts with a little getting-to-know-you exercise, some warming up, first rules of the slopes and a little bit about the equipment. Next we cover first steps on skis, how to go straight ahead, and if possible how to come to a halt using a snowplough turn. In our mini ski courses, our instructors’ focus is very much on having fun in the snow and maintaining that, because at such a young age kids are not always able to keep up with the physical requirements.

Holidays in the snow – hurrah!

Our compact holiday courses have been a favourite for many years.

If you’re looking for something fun for your children to do during the school break but can’t or don’t want to go away on holiday, why not book them on a 3-day intensive course here at the Snow Dome? Ski or snowboard? Whatever their hearts desire. Thanks to our highly intensive training they’ll progress quickly and will be equipped and ready to go next winter.
Our intensive programme: 3 days of training, 3 hours a day on skis or snowboard, 1 hour for lunch. On the last day they’ll not only get a certificate from the instructor, but can also take part in our exciting final race – a real highlight of the course.
By the way, our courses always run during the school holidays in Lower Saxony and Hamburg. For the very little ones (4 to 6 years) there are two-hour compact courses.
