However you like to get down, in Germany’s most modern and well-equipped winter sports arena we make sure it’s a great ride. From beginner to pro, we welcome anyone looking for fun in the snow. In fact even racers from all disciplines come to us to prepare in peace and quiet and the very best snow conditions.
The only thing you need to bring is an appetite for unforgettable experiences; everything else you can leave to our team. You don’t even have to have your own equipment – you can rent it from us.
Fun knows no bounds! So we’re open to you and your winter sports dreams 365 days a year without interruption. Well apart from overnight, obviously. But as you know, there’s also plenty going on in our log-cabin village and soon in our hotel, too.

Your glacier is 300 meters long and up to 100 meters wide.
Even on busy days at the Snow Dome, there’s plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves. Take a chair lift to the top: either the two-person lift or our modern original Doppelmayer with space for six. And that’s where the different winter sports fans go their separate ways. Cruisers and carvers enjoy a relaxed swing down the main piste; snowboarders and fanatics let off steam on changing set-ups in our fun park, and everyone’s glad there are no annoying obstacles (e.g. lift pillars) in the way. And for beginners we have an extra area that’s far from being a baby slope. In the lower part of the arena you’ll find our practice area with its own magic-carpet lift, for those first turns in the heavenly snow. Enjoy!

Our snow fun park is regularly redesigned by the shapers. It’s then extended even further for our legendary summer set-up.
When can children toboggan by themselves?
Can I bring my own sledge?
Bringing your own sledge is not permitted. Of course we have a selection of sledges and Zipfl bobsleds available.
Freestyle for free.
Get the ultimate kick in our snow fun park.
Freestyle is your thing? Then look no further. We have a variety of obstacles, kickers and rails in ever-changing set-ups that will get your heart racing and are guaranteed to keep boredom at bay. Here you can practise and perfect your tricks with no risk of bad weather. You’ll find that quite a few of those enjoying the snow here already have an annual ticket in their pocket, because they just can’t get enough. The great thing about that is that in the summer when everyone else is at the outdoor pool, our snow fun park will feel especially spacious and inviting. Come on and dive in.

Rocking it all the way down.
Forget the boring toboggan runs here in the north – here we’ve got hills with thrills.
In the Snow Dome you don’t need skis or a snowboard to have fun in the snow: Our sledges and Zipfl bobsleds, too, are great for plunging into the valley while yodelling for joy. The experience begins with an ascent in the 6-seater chairlift, and when you reach the top you can glide down the 300 metres into happiness. And the best thing: Our toboggan ticket includes equipment rental, so you can leave your own things at home. With our particular snow you wouldn’t be able to use them anyway.
By the way: Here tobogganing is allowed from the age of 3.
Beginners’ luck.
The Snow Dome is the perfect place for your first turns.
Just imagine: You can learn here with us, and then once you hit the mountain slopes you’ll be good to go. Lots of people have learnt to ski and snowboard here at the Snow Dome, and our team of instructors are kept busy the whole year round. And as mentioned, beginners and little ones even have their own practice area. Here you have room to perfect your first turns in the powdery snow without having to worry about anyone else. If you want to book a course, ask us about course times. We offer not only group courses, but also individual sessions, and anything your heart desires.

A ski course is twice as much fun if you do it with friends – for example as a birthday present.
